MADE Chamber and community involvement:
After being a virtual business for many years, we are excited to pick 512 W Main in Mason, Ohio as our "forever home"! The Chamber are our neighbors, and we were sure to introduce and join right away. We've met many other members through the Chamber and Colleen, our CEO, serves as an informal mentor to other local female business owners. In addition, she serves on the Mason Mile Activator Committee, a grassroots effort to make downtown Mason a refreshed, healthy, and vibrant regional heart.
Why is being part of the Mason Deerfield Chamber important to you/your organization?
We are a business that exists to support other businesses. During the past few years, Human Resources has been turned on its head - with recruiting and retaining employees becoming the #1 focus for many in our community. In essence, we share the same mission to help community businesses flourish and grow through the connection of people!
Fun facts about you/your business:
We were established in 2017. We are 100% female owned and operated. Between the 8 of us, we have 21 children and 14 dogs.
Like the emerald, businesses and organizations have many facets. Which facet is your strength and why?
Our values are: humor, honesty and wholeheartedness which is how we are able to tackle so many things (see above) and boast a 100% fill rate and a 97% client retention -- with humor and tenacity!
If your company culture, or personal persona, had to be summed up in five words or less, reflective of a gemstone, what would they be?
Underestimated (at first). Then, Brilliant!
