Why is being part of the Mason Deerfield Chamber important to you/your organization?
Like the amethyst, businesses and organizations have many facets. Which facet is your strength and why?
If your company culture, or personal persona, had to be summed up in five words or less, reflective of a
gemstone, what would they be?
Being part of the Mason Deerfield Chamber is important because it creates opportunities to connect education with the broader community. At Mason City Schools we believe in preparing students not only for academic success but also for future careers and meaningful contributions to society. The Chamber provides a powerful network of business and community partners who share that vision.

Throu gh our collaborations we are able to bring real -world experiences into classroomss foster leaderships and ensure that our students-and our community-continue to thrive. The Chamber amplifies our ability to work together toward excellence and build a stronger future for Mason and Deerfield.
Like the amethyst, I believe my strength lies in the unique facets of empathy, adaptability, and creative problem solving. Empathy allows me to truly listen and connect with others-whether it's students, families, or community partners-and to respond in ways that honor their stories and needs. Adaptability gives me the ability to navigate change with optimism and resiliences ensuring that challenges become opportunities for growth. And creative problem solving allows me to bring fresh ideas to complex situations, designing solutions that serve both education and our community. Together these strengths help me build meaningful connections, foster collaboration, and keep moving our work forward with purpose and impact.
