Lindner Center of HOPE

2023 Lindner Center of HOPE Finalist

MADE Chamber & Community Involvement:

  • Though we work to be actively involved in chamber events, activities and mission, our collaboration with the chamber to focus on mental health has been most significant. Working together, the goal is to keep mental wellness in the forefront of our community. Our businesses are key to that, employers are the bridge that can help us connect with employees and their families.

Fun Facts About You/Your Business:

  • Lindner Center of HOPE was established on 36 acres off of Old Western Row Rd. in Mason. This property was the estate of the Gregory family, regarded founders of Montgomery Inn.

Notable facts about mental illness include:

  • Due to stigma and other factors, formal mental health diagnosis consistently does not occur until 10 years after symptom onset. Proactive efforts to address symptoms early, could help improve this statistic.

  • Fifty percent of the onset of mental illness, happens before the age of 14.
